Leica M9 and X1 officially revealed!
After long rumors, finally Leica has officially revealed the M9, newest series of Leica M on 9th Sept 2009 (999). This is full frame camera with M-mount rangefinder, 18 MP and “the world’s smallest full-frame system camera”.
In ‘lowe range’, Leica has also announced the X1, a compact camera with a large APS-C sensor and fixed 35mm equivalent field-of-view F2.8 autofocus lens. You can set X1 to manual control and this camera supported by 2.7 inch LCD and 12 MP CMOS sensor with an ISO range ‘quite wide’ of 100 to 3200.
What about price?
No, you dont need to sell your ranch to buy X1 even M9 :)
You can go to Amazon and pre-order M9 (Black) for $ 6995 and $ 1995 for X1.
