Google Commerce Search

Google has launched Google Commerce Search.
It is a great idea about how to engage more visitors to your site and changing them to become buyers and would be a good solution of how to introduce your products more effectively. All that you need, as business owner, is only prepare your product detail information including price, pictures and let Google Commerce Search do the rest.

Here is keypoints of Google Commerce Search list:

  • Enable visitors to find the right products faster
  • Filter results by category, price, brand or other attributes
  • Provide user-friendly spelling options and synonyms
  • Increase website conversions and sales
  • Boost or promote chosen products within search results
  • Deploy search solution in days, and scale effortlessly
  • Customize, track, and optimize performance

What about price?
Well, i have to say that it’s not cheap at all!
You have to prepare at least 50K USD for a year and it would be bigger depend on how many products/items.

But i’m not sure that Bing will defeat Google in the near future, Bing have to prove that this increase is not coming from Bing new features tester but from their loyal visitors.

Another search engine that growing fast although not as fast as Bing is AOL with 333.231 (in thousands) searches and gain 1.8%.
