Start from now, your tweets on Twitter can be displayed as search result on Google and Bing. This is a great step from Twitter to do more open by exchanging their tweets on search engine.

However, i dont even know it’s such a good or bad news for you but my concern is you have to more carefull when tweeting something, don’t broadcast anything that will send back a problem to you. Cyber world becomes more and more transparent and a few place to hide your identity left …

Report as spam

Have you ever felt so annoyed by spam on Twitter?
Today, Twitter has added Spam Fighting tool.

This feature can give you ability to flag bad account by clicking “Report as spam” button under the Action section of a profile’s sidebar. Although it won’t automatically reporting as ‘real spam’ but at least, but once you press “Report as spam” Twitter will block that account from following or replying to you.

Sync Your MySpace with Twitter

September 21, 2009 bO2 Leave a comment

Using OAuth, open authentication technology, MySpace now enable to sync with Twitter.
Any status that created on MySpace will appear in Twitter feed and vice versa.

Here is the list of new features:

  • Status updates synced from MySpace to Twitter and vice versa
  • Updates originating from MySpace will be noted as such on Twitter and vice versa
  • Status syndication can be enabled for one-way or two-way
  • When updates post to Twitter, readers have a link back to MySpace to make commenting easy
  • Enables on-the-go status syncing (for Twitter and MySpace Mobile – WAP and apps)
  • Open authentication technology (OAuth) protects account credentials and data shared between sites

The thing that maybe interesting is what Sharon Nguyen, Senior Product Manager, said on MySpace blog:

At MySpace, we believe in open content distribution and want to help users socialize around content in many different places.  Your status update is a quick way to tell friends what you’re up to, or in to. Our new sync functionality is part of an ongoing effort to make it simple for people to share their status beyond MySpace and allow friends and followers to interact with that content Web-wide.

Content sharing is the key how to win in this era, web 2.0 era!

Do you use Twitter.com instead of another twitter client applications?

If yes, there is such a happy news from Twitter.com that they have just added four more themes to the design collections. They ‘ve updated the default theme and avatar as well. Visit Setting – Design to see and try their new updates.

Unfortunatelly, I can’t tell you which ones new or older collections since I use Tweetdeck and Twitberry, not twitter.com.
